Pocket Full of Sunshine :P

Hello!

*Today was a wonderfully warm day.
*A book I ordered came it :)
*Awesome people are awesome.
*My teacher mentioned in class that I did well on a paper.
*I talked to that same teacher about my transfer worries.
*He invited me to come talk to him more about it soon.
*Softball. Despite the pain. heh.
* Potato leek soup!
*Coffee, coffee, coffee.
*Molly Clarahan.
*Free food.
*Photo-ops with Melissa, per usual.
*Again, the sun. What is this thing so long missing from my life?
*My replacement debit card getting here.
*My hair doing good things :P being long.
*Music.
*Poetry.
*My proff's eye contact with me when he mentions something Cleveland related.
I am now obsessed with this song:

Stresses are there but I have hope.
Everything is going to be okay.
God is good.

floral sunday

'Allo,
Sunday was such a warm, sunny day, I wasn't in the mood for pants, and this skirt was calling my name. So this happened:
 And of course, my beloved, coffee.
 YAY! TWIRL!
And this is what happens when Becca, my ex-roommate, makes jokes and sasses my from above -- perched in her lofted bed.
Angst :P

Anyway, it's always surprising to me how much a nice outfit can change my mood -- look good, feel good, or however it goes.
:)

On a rainy day in March

Today has treated me well. I finally put away my laundry from last week (sshhh, no judgement), left the dorm in my newly favorited grey jeans, very-well-worn combat boots, TWLOHA shirt that hangs off my shoulder enough to reveal my sunflower tattoo, and made my way to the JC where I bought the usual iced coffee and white chocolate chip raspberry scone and enjoyed it in the company of Melissa and her boyfriend, Carl. I spent the rest of the day looking up possible school options for the next year and filling out FAFSA to the soundtrack provided by Spotify. On that note, I found the band "Fireworks" via Spotify & I am very grateful :)
Now, I'm sipping on some Strawberry Chocolate tea...yum! I've discovered a new little piece of heaven in these desert teas. Lately I've tired Carmel Vanilla and Strawberry Chocolate. YUM. They smell wonderful and taste lovely by themselves and, I'm sure, with milk and sugar.
yay for awkward mac book selfies in crowded areas.
OH! AND IT'S RAINING. I love rain. I absolutely adore it. I love it especially when I'm watching it through the large windows of our student center. Mmmm :) have a good day!

Optimism.

 Hello, beautiful people
So, right now I'm about to run off to another softball double header and my body is dead -- my back is shot, hips jacked and I have a newly bruised hand :D yay! This apparently warrants "ice pack, pre-game selfies" Buuuttttt.... in comparison to my family, I'm as agile and spry as and woodland sprite.

*I'm happy I am physically capable of playing the game of softball
*And play better than I ever have in my "softball career"
* 2nd base is the best position. ever. swag.
*I recently got a Spotify -- LOVE.
* And am listening to  We're My OTP by Troye Sivan on repeat. Obsessed.
* Molly Clarahan, Rosita, Hugh, Giles, Perkins and the wonderful people I've befriended via CODA.
*The weather is gorgeous. High 50's? Thank you.
*Iced coffee and white chocolate raspberry scones.
* Melissa's adorable family.
* Writing a pretty good ( I hope) poetry paper on the bus.
* Banksy!
* Rise Against

:)

MONDAY.

Haaaaaapppyyy Monday -- ever glorious Monday.
As a college student (and even better, a college-hating college student) I am prone to over sleeping my classes. But not today, muwahahaa. I woke up with enough time to throw on a half decent outfit, buy myself a coffee and muffin, and reply to my mother's email before my 9am Latin class.
I've been thinking a lot lately about what I want to do with my immediate future. Drop out of school? Take a year off? Transfer? (and by "thinking" I mean breaking down, crying, scowling, freaking out & hating the world.... in a good way, of course.) I think I've settled on the option of transferring to a local state college where I could hopefully not only save money, but make connections in Cleveland with businesses of interest. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life but I want to help people via literature, coffee, and beauty.

Stresses aside, here is a short list of some things keeping me looking forward to the future:
1.) An exploration of downtown Cleveland over Easter break with my friend Vinny with such activities as "hassle the hipster".
2.) Going home.
3.) Summer week long trip to California with Melissa.
4.) Road trip to Cape Cod/ Boston/ Philly with Vinny, Mickey D & Terry.
5.) Seeing my kick-ass co-workers.
6.) Free time to read & write!

In sum, it's gonna be okay.
With love,
Liz

strrbrry

Ya know, today was alright in the end. There are so many little things that make life worth it. I went to the athletic trainer and got some electric stimm {heaven} and rolled out my jacked up muscles. I've been having wonderful conversations with old friends from high school, awesome music on my iPod, a lovely roommate & people in my life. Plus, I have strawberry Arnold Palmer -- heeelllzzz yes.
